Hello DakkaDakka community.

This is our thread to talk about our "daily".. weekly... monthly work on LastSword Miniatures. We have oppened others threads like:

Where we talk about in depth about one of our Kickstarter proyects.

This new thread is to talk and show all the rest material wich we are working on, as scenery, painting job, etc...

Now, to start we would like to show our new resin trees. We have and old ones make of Dass clay. This time we were looking for a new texture and desing wich we can make a mold, and we got it!

We used super sculpey clay to make the tree.



We can glue differents branches in the trees and get different models.



We have been takingbackground pictures with our trees for our scene pictures.

Nowadays Im working on production molds. I cand craft trees, but no too many right now. Besides, I would like to desing a big base for them and can make an area wood or forest.

Hi guys, we are back.

Trees are my favourite scenery pieces. Time ago we did a resin trees to can craft them and hace a lots. Now we have done a base to make woods and forest with them.

We needed some elements to add in our ruined houses, so I sculted a fireplace.

What do you think about our hearth?

Nicely done !! Clean and crisp.
Would be cool to have some accessories to hang over the mantle like a mounted hunt trophy (like deer, boar, dragon heads or a pelt), a coat of arms on a shield or tapestry, or some crossed weapons.

Yeah this is agreat idea Myrthe.

We have done a mold of this fireplaces. Now we can craft copies and add any details that we want.

That is the reason why our hearth is plain

Trees are a very complicate product.

We launched a wood with the Elven Lords kickstarter first attemp. I would like to say that we did a mistake writing the price, will be higher.

Three trees and a scenery base are 6 molds, five of them doble face molds. It is a nithgmare do a mold of one tree so imagine three and two more for the branches.

At the end is a lot of work, and not everybody can afford pay for it ./
