Just finished a Tech-Priest and two units of Rangers (both units equipped the same so only one picture shown). Next will be the servitors for the Tech-Priest. Sorry for the less than fantastic quality of the pictures.

Considering I too have a Ryza force I have been working on I give these a big thumbs up! What have you got done so far?

I am up to about 1250 points and climbing!

Here's what I have painted, or am in the process of painting right mow. On top of what is shown here I also have two more Onagers, three Dragoons, two Ironstriders, two more Tech-Priest Dominus, twenty more Vanguard, 11 Fulgerites, 10 Corpuscarii, four Servitors, another Knight, sever Infiltrators Cawl and five Ruststalkers. I also picked up a Vengeance Weapon Battery as a Fortification that will be painted in Ryza colors. I started basing the army in brownish red but didn't like it, so I've changed to grey/black, eventually I'll rebase it all to match.

Looks great! Keep it up!

What Knight house are you going with? Seems pretty open, since I don't see any fluff for any aligned specifically (like Raven for my Metalica).

I haven't figured that out yet, hopefully there will be some inspiration in the new codex. Hawkshroud matches my color scheme well but is not a Mechanicun aligned house. Krast is a possibility, there's a lot of red, but some yellow too. Or I may end up making up a house.

ADDED
A little research has shown that there is a Titan Legion called the Legio Crucius that is based on Ryza. There would certainly be Knights aligned with a Titan Legion so maybe my Knights should wear the black and white of Crusius. I would have to do some custom decals though, my freehand skills are about zero. More work for the decals, but an easy to paint color scheme.

It doesn't have to match. I think the contrast between forces actually looks pretty great on the table. Though AdMech houses are usually red dominant... which will clash a bit with Ryza orange (or can). You could always do a Freeblade! I did an AdMech loyal freeblade a few years ago in yellow and blue colors, just to have something different.

Agreed, matching is not required but is is nice to have some elements that tie everything together. Freeblades are cool as it allows you to do anything you want but in the end I'll have three Knights in this army and I think it would look better if they shared a common color scheme. See my added comments above about the Legio Crucius, I'm giving that strong consideration right now. It would look good, tie the Knights together in a common scheme, have a great contrast with the Ryza scheme and fit in well with the fluff.

Legio Crucius would be the Titans, though, not the Knights.

But honestly, its up to you. I just tend to go more for canon than not.

Correct, but Knight housed do align with titan legions and fight with them when needed.

From Lexicanum:

"In the current Age of the Imperium, these Knights fight alongside the Titans and form a reserve of troops which can be called up into the Titan Legions when required".

So it would make sense that a Knightly House that has fealty to a Titan Legion would share some colors with the legion

There isn't any precedent thus far though, oddly. Generally, you see Knight houses as their own thing. Titans are their own thing. And the Skitarii/Cult forces are their own thing.

I think that actually makes it really great for the hobby. Then you can paint up everything uniquely. Like I am doing Metalica, House Raven, and Legio Astorum. Should make for a nice visually diverse collection.
