As the title says, is the decimator chaos walker from forgeworld close enough in size to a contemptor for use as a count as? The bases sizes are the same I believe, but after a quick google search I found that the decimator is slightly taller and quite a bit wider. That wouldnt benefit me in any way, right? I dont want to model for advantage, but I already have a contemptor and would like to add variety to my collection. Plus the decimator model is so cool! Thanks!

Decimators are holdovers of a time when there wasn't really a base size between 60mm and flying base. They should really have been moved to the next size up.

Why not just use the Decimator as a Decimator? The rules aren't too bad and it gets a decent stratagem.

Wanting to run multi contemptors in a list and I just dont like having models that look the same. Everything is at least slightly converted in my army for variety. Could definitely use the decimator as a decimator and almost certainly will at some point, but I just wanted to know if I put one on the table and said it was a contemptor, would there be reason for my opponent to think I was modeling for advantage.
