Subject: Do storm ravens have to hover to embark/disembark passengers?
Marine B: "Uh, It's 5,000 feet in the air traveling at 300 miles per hour"
Marine A: "So what? Let's go!"
In the setting of warp-spawned daemons, hive-minded aliens, psychically-attuned elves that can traverse another plane and spores that can grow into ferocious, gun-toting greenskins, this is probably one of the least unbelievable scenarios I can think of.

Hey, there is nothing to indicate they are 5,000 feet in the air just because they aren't hovering. They could have skimmed the ground at 300 mph, ya ever think of that? You just jump in as it goes by. Easy.
If you can't jump onto an aircraft flying 300mph successfully, you need to march back to your high school and apologize to your math teacher. What do you think all those questions were preparing your for?
"If little Johnny is running from a Waaaaagh! at 12mph, and a Stormraven is traveling towards him at 300mph..."
"But If the Earth isn't flat, then how did Jabba chakka wookiee no Solo ho ho ho hoooooooo?"

Yeah weird as it might seem, the only restriction would have to be included in the Airborne rule or something - and it is not.
Gravity-lifts, tractor-beams, short-range teleporters, Necronian or Aeldari portals, reiver hooks, etc.
Perhaps a reverse railgun setup: thunderhawk swoops in at 250mph,
"alright brothers, hop!"
the marines hop, in their mighty power armor, a full foot off the ground (their scale), while their feet scrape the deck magnets normalize their velocity with the gunship and they end up at the back of the bus

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.

Tau can ride their drones around like hover-boards, and they don't complain.
Stormraven should be lucky if all Samson does is break a windshield.
8th made it so I can no longer sway Tau onto the side of Chaos, but they will eventually turn aside from their idea of the Greater Good to embrace the Greatest of pleasures.
