I was rummaging through my minis box and came across a primed Lord Karamazov. I was wondering what would be a fluffy and effective army to build around him. He looks interesting now that he actually has an invul save as well as being effectively an Inquisition Dread. 150 points isn't bad either. But from what I heard Inquisition units are kinda bad right now, but I doubt Karamazov would be the kind to bring a small party to pal around with a SM chapter or IG regiment; he looks like the type to go around with an entire parade. So, suggestions?

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.

Karamazov suffers from a very confused role. He's an anti-psyker but he also has an anti-tank gun, fights OK in close combat, provides minor Leadership manipulation, and can tank damage vaguely well. He's able to do lots of things, but sucks at all of them compared to a dedicated source of any of those things.

your mind

He would look cool just surrounded by adoring throngs of every sort of biped. I would just play him like that, lots of heavy artillery to level everything 9inches in front of your line, a couple titan-killing tank platforms to punch up through the middle and make way, and a ton of flamers and flame-wielding sentinels to scout. Maybe a couple of Tauroxes with wheels. But then again, I collect first and worry about rules systems later.
