Playing with my friends later and was wondering if there were simple fluff lines that are easy to use that add to the atmosphere. There is nothing more frustrating than having my brass scorpion of khorne get instagibbed turn one by overwhelming Tau firepower - but hollering "Blood for the Blood God" As I role a critical 6 and it erupts on my troops killing everything in sight eases the blow.

Currently play chaos but I would be interested to hear if there were simple lines / quotes to use during fight as units miss/die/attack for the different factions etc.

Some variation of shattering skies when the whole battery of Krieg cannons fire.

For the Emperor! - Space Marines, when you run into a fight that might sacrifice your unit's lives. (Or IG I guess)

MAIM! KILL! BURN! - Chaos berserkers whenever they charge.

"Things shall get loud now!" - Noise marines, whenever they disembark or are about to unleash a big salvo.

Oh, and of course -

"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRGH!!!" - Orks. Just, all the time. Every time you move a unit. Whenever your opponent picks up his glass of water, just sneak up beside him and scream it in his ear. Go on. Dat git gonna love it.

When I take the first Wound off a large enemy monster after he has passed way too many saves: 'It can bleed!'.

Also, there's no longer any penetration in 40k.

Might explain why Angron is so angron.

My DeathRider command squad constantly Kill characters after they come onto the bored. Me and a friend always make the bugle sound when they get a charge off.

We also make jokes about small arms fire wounding vehicles, they mostly involve comments related to our job. We are both in the US Army, we've seen a lot of dumb things happen.

I have found cheesy one liners to be the most satisfying:

"Blood for the blood god" (Usually when I've been slaughtered like a lamb)

or in similar circumstances:
"Chaos is eternal"
"I am Alpharius" (Everytime a character dies, literally. Never gets old) - Or for less lols "Hydra Dominatus"

"Death to the False Emperor"

"All is Dust"

"Iron Within, Iron Without!" (So satisfying on a impossible save)

Typically most fun when lines are not from the legion being played (playing Khorne and using Iron Warriors line adds to the ridiculousness).
