Faeit 212 was asking for pictures of what you are working on, so I filled a table with some of my Black Legion models.
After seeing it all on the table, I was curious about whether it could make a battle forged list. Turns out it can, using several detachments. The list works out to 8669 points, 451 power levels, 23 command points.
This exercise got me thinking about detachments and how to optimize command points. I had to use a Brigade, 3 Battalions, an Outrider and a Speartip detachment to get everything to fit. I am sure I could reorganize the units to hit a higher number of command points, but I am not sure I want to go through all the work.
While I don't plan to use this list, I would love any feedback about the formations themselves. If anyone sees anything that could be done to increase command points, I would love to hear.
This is just a portion of my army, and I plan to working it up to a 20k point version over time.
