I was wondering if I could get some help regarding which colour paints to use. I'm trying to recreate this camo pattern:

And I'm not sure which colours I will need.

It's a crying ass shame that my INSTAR paint range isn't available for sale just yet because I would have recommended our INSTAR Forest Green, Dirt Brown and Deep Red.

However, since I can't do that right now, I can recommend the colours that they are comparable to from GW which is Mournfang Brown (Deep Red), Karak Stone (Dirt Brown) and Ogryn Camo (Forest Green).

Those would be my choices.

The advantage with INSTAR is not just lower, more competitive prices, but much larger or smaller sizes than the standards available depending on the amounts you use.

Just search INSTAR on the forum to see what all the fuss is about or visit the website INSTAR Paint

Try this..

It allows you to upload an image and then makes a best guess recommendation on the area of the image you select.

Obviously it'll be based on the Reaper range, but there's plenty of colour equivalent charts out there if they're not your thing.

It will take a little bit of cross referencing, but the following pages from the Flames of War website might be of some help.

Loren Forest, Zandri Dust and Mournfang Brown then go over it all with a light drybrush of Ushabti Bone to fade it and tie it together.

Good luck!

Or if you want to go the most authentic route, just go with Vallejo. Most of the Model Colour series is designed to be as close a match as possible to real world military camo/schemes, etc.
