How could Ultramarines be customized and given "individualized" gear/accessories by using things like extra bits and green stuff?

i.e: Salamanders and their scale mantles, Night Lords and their flayed skin, Space Wolves and their furs, etc.

Going for less sergeant character type things.. dunno they are as vanilla as vanilla can get. they would probably be very plain with maybe some extra purity seals and accolades like skulls and marksmen tokens than anything.

Crests, Pturges (the leather strappy belt things) and anything with a roman flair. You might want to look at some of the 30k stuff for inspiration as well.

I'm doing a slightly odd thing and adding capes to the characters. While they have their own upgrade sprue i always think of capes when i think of roman-esque models, so I took some cloth and started adding some to my models. I like the result when its used with movable cloth. When added to scouts, it makes it look more like thrown together camoflauge, when used on leaders, its like its showing off importance.
