Hi, Im going to be posting a variety of armies im constructing currently. The first one is my Deathguard. The list so far comes to 2048, but ill hopefulyl finetune it with reduced values in the upcoming deathguard codex! Typhus, Necrosius and the Deathshroud blob with the poxwalkers holding key objectives whilst the plague marines and leviathan move up field. Please any feedback of anykind whether on strategy on how to use the army or list building ideas are all welcome thanks in advance. The Rhino tanks add on 200 points

Typhus points changed. The necrosius and dreadnaught im not sure are deathguard so you might lose the Legion Trait which is really important if you are runnimg that many PMs. If you are running that many PMs you might think about the Grenade strategym and a Foul Blightspawn. Im also unsure that pMs are considered troops choices anymore. If not then youll need to reorginize to maximize CPs. Id drop the lord (doesnt have DIsgustingly Res) and something else for a DP and or Malignant plaguecaster. They got buffed

Thanks for reply! Necrosius and the leviathan are deathguard I think. This is because necrosius have deathguard keyword and leviathan is a hellbrute which can also be taken

List looks fine.
I would squeeze 30 pts of Maelific Lord into that patrol to bump is up to a full battalion (You lose the legion trait, but poxes aren't shooting anyway)

I worry about the effectivenes of footslogging pms. Give it a try I guess.

Neither Necrosius nor Leviathan Dread are in the new codex. I don't have the Chaos Index, so I don't know what it says about them there.

Also, Typhus is 175 points, and Plague Marine squads do not have the option to take Lightning Claws or Power Swords.

Yes but they have the deathgurd keyword and plague marines do have access to champion equipment so yes. EDIT: saying that I don't actually have access to the new deathgurd codex until Monday probably so I'm just going via the index which I assumed would carry over the powersword and claw. However If this is the case, I'll use another fist and plague sword or equivalent. I'm also planning on maybe trialling the marines in rhinos, but ill see.

Necrosis is Deathguard in the FW chaos index.....he's part of a Deathguard army you are good there and leviathan dready can pick it's legion
