Hi, so... I have only used like 4 washes before, all Vallejo Game - Black, Umber, red and green. All have been great.

I got one of the large bottles of their Model line of washes, in the light grey...

For a start, it's not really light grey, it is darker than the Umber wash but looks very similar just a bit less brown.

But the main issue is that when I put a few drops into my pallette, it seems to be filled with paint flakes, maybe half a mm or so in size. I'm sure this isn't normal, right?

Wanted to find out if it was me doing something wrong, before I complain and get a return.

And if it's the paint - does anyone have a recommendation for a light grey wash, or a wash that would be good to use for a white model?
