Hey folks, so recently I became interested in building/modeling a Tau Fire Support Hammerhead from forgeworld. Unfortunately, they do not make the bits anymore. This is the goal I would like to make.

Any suggestions for how to model the turret?

Riptide heavy burst cannon on a de-winged Skyray turret?

So that would be this central bit here, yeah?

Download Autodesk 123D Design

Model the bits

Upload to Shapeways

That is how I would do it.

Yes; you'll probably need some of the central pylon bits in that lot too.

Some programs are quite easy. (Unlike Blender, I hate Blender, It's like trying to fly the space shuttle or something) The one I suggested is like building things out of simple shapes and then tweaking those shapes. My 13 year old nephew was making things after only a few minutes of explanation. He then showed his little sister how to do it.
