Hey guys. This is something that seems super solid and was wondering what you guys thought.
Brigade Detachment: +9 CP
HQ:
Typhus
Malignant Plague Caster
Chaos Lord
Troops:
10x Cultists
10x Cultists
10x Cultists
10x Cultists
20x Pox Walkers
20x Pox Walkers
Elite:
Noxious Blight Bringer
Foul Blightspawn
Plague Surgeon
Fast Attack:
Foetid Bloat Drone
-2x Plague Spitter
Foetid Bloat Drone
-2x Plague Spitter
Foetid Bloat Drone
-Flesh Mower
Heavy Support:
Chaos Predator
-Twin linked Lascannon
-2x Lascannon
Chaos Predator
-Twin linked Lascannon
-2x Lascannon
Chaos Predator
-Twin linked Lascannon
-2x Lascannon
The idea is to use the stratagem to replace my Cultists with Pox Walkers and also not allowing my opponent to shoot at the Pox Walker units. I figured with the bloat drones being able to chew through infantry, my Pox units will get massive mid to late game. Everything else is pretty straight forward. I feel the list has enough staying power to hold objectives, as well as having enough punch to mow through armor as well as hordes of dudes. What do you guys think?

Do you think 9 CP will be enough? if i was the opponent I would deploy on the 2 flanks of the deployment forcing your surgeon to stick with 1 squad and separating typhus from one squad and then mass bolter fire into the unit of pox walkers you haven't hidden with the stratagem and pump everything worthwhile into your predators and drones, and hope by the time your slow movers get to me the preds and drones are dead and the cultists and poxwalkers are either divided or weak enough to not be too threatening especially if we are playing hammer and anvil.
its just a thought and maybe something to consider. I have also toyed with this idea.

Facts are chains that bind perception and fetter truth. For a man can remake the world if he has a dream and no facts to cloud his mind. |

This army is half the size of the army I used to play at competitive events in 5th and 6th edition. I used to play Green Tide with a model count of 220+. Never had a time issue believe it or not. If your interested in checking out some old Bat reps, my YouTube handle is BadSheep Wargaming.
In terms of the CPs being enough... not sure how to get more then 12 lol.
I do know there are easy ways of dealing with the list, it just seemed pretty decent and wanted to give it a shot. Also if someone deploys on extreme flanks, I would block up and stack a flank. Typhus and surgeon will never be away from Pox units. Automatically Appended Next Post: Also keep in mind the pox are actually pretty fast with rolling 2 dice in the advance and taking the highest. I honestly think someone is going to be hard pressed taking out 3 bloat drones before they collapse into a flank, especially if I deploy appropriately. I may be wrong though. Also when I say Competitive, I am well aware that Chaos Soup and Maga Maga conscripts of death and destruction will destroy me... I'm not necessarily looking to win major conventions. This is more of a "it's pretty damn tough" in a more competitive scene. Automatically Appended Next Post: It's also possible that I would my take 1 unit of Pox and add another unit of cultists. That way I can make sure to keep all the Pox walkers safe and it just may be easier to manage and I'm not wasting CPs.

I think this looks quite strong. It'll come down to getting your psychic powers off though.

These are not entirely compatible statements. My problem with the poxwalker horde I want to run is that it's very difficult for Typhus to keep up if you have a blightbringer hurrying the poxies along whilst Typhus halves his advance rolls.

They really are though. Keeping Typhus with the Pox Walkers is super easy. Say you deploy him in the middle of both units. Every turn the Pox Walkers are moving roughly 3 inches further than Typhus is if they are both advancing. Lets pretend the Pox Walkers are moving 7 inches further a turn.. his aura is 5 inches, plus every Pox model you conga gains you 2 full inches because of coherency. It's really not nearly as hard as you might think. I mean they are prob only running for 2-3 turns because the battle gets bogged down and everything consolidates together.

Hello.
List looks very strong to me, but replace all your Spitters with Fleshmowers. You relly want to go in CC to make profit of the Probe attacks, so the Spitters seems pointless.
With the points earned swap some troops with Plague bearers, summoning is invaluable for taking objectives (or killing that pesky hidden unit) and you have lot of characters for that. Furthermore they are the thoughest.
Cheers
