I just finished two Redemptors for my home made Ultramanies successor chapter, the Partisans. The color scheme is based on some Revolutionary War art I found while looking at some 4th of July stuff. The art that inspired this showed a Revolutionary War soldier with blue coat and white pants. I decided to make that the scheme for my Primaris chapter and that's also how they got their name, the Partisans. Painted up, the Redemptors have a sort of Novamarine vibe but are still different enough to stand out as something unique. The weapons are not glued in.

Nice paintwork. Still not feeling this dreadnought.

I can handle the protruding belly better than I can the tiny legs on the regular Stubby McWaddletoes pattern. It's also far less offensive than the baby carrier and ape hangers on the Grey Knight's dreadknight.

I swapped the missile rack because I really dislike the one that comes with the kit. The Terminator missiles looked too small and Typhoon launchers just take too much effort to convert. Besides, the low profile and boxy look of the Land Speeder Storm's missile launcher go a long way making it fit the overall aesthetic of the Redemptor.

I've come to dislike the glowing coils on the plasma cannon. Those will have to be redone at some point in the future.

This is the artwork that originally inspired me. I wound up not using the green because I wanted a red, white, and blue theme.

Under the couch

That's quite striking. Nice job!

Could use some dust on those shiny, white feet, though

And yeah, love the missile rack.

I didn't even realize that wasn't the stock missile rack initially.

I'm seeing more people swap out the missile rack although most of them use the Sentinel's missile launcher instead of the Land Speeder Storm's. I suspect the availability of extra Sentinel bits is behind that given most Sentinel's mount a lascannon or plasmacannon.
