Hey guys, I did a small conversion using the optional scythe head from a box of Deathshroud I picked up today on my Lord of Contagion now that I'm arming him with a Manreaper.

Simple switch, but, yeah, the DI model makes for a much better Typhus than the new official one. Can't see too much of the paint job, but it looks decent.

Yeah I agree. I really wanted to like the new Typhus model but I can't. Way too over the top proportion and pose wise for a Death Guard character, especially Typhus.

For the paint job, this was more for showing the conversion, but I can update the pic with a better one to show that off a little better soon. In the meantime, I had this thread going a little while ago and he's painted up in there. He just has the axe instead of the Manreaper.

Thats a really nice conversion, and I agree: it's better than the overly-busy new Typhus.
