Question in the title - can flyers who are 'supersonic' (i.e. not hovering) claim objectives? To the best of knowledge, they can - the 'boots on the ground' update didn't address it that I could find.

Is this currently legal?

I had heard there are rumors that it may be corrected in the chapter approved, but I'm don't know if that's anything but rumors at this point.

It's not in the Rules yet.

Note that with that rule from CA, when it comes out, no flyers will be able to hold objectives, even if they hover.
