Originally wanted to call them Minotaurs but then Google search helpfully corrected me that 40k already had Minotaurs. SOOOOO

I always liked the Minotaur/Bullgor models from fantasy/AoS but I didn't want to start an army of them in that game system, since you often needed other things to help them along. But with Bloodcrushers not being gak anymore, I was thinking of fielding some brass-colored Minotaurs as a Vanguard Detachment of a Herald on Juggernaut leading a few squads of Bloodcrushers. Maybe toss in a few Warhounds as Fleshhounds of Khorne for some variety.

However I saw the Warherd Bloodfeast set and it's a good way to get a little discount on dem minos. But the Ghorgon would be left over and I don't exactly know what to do with it. I can't field it as a bloodthirster due to the lack of wings. I could field it as Skarbrand but I'm thinking of getting 3 of those sets, and I certainly can't have 3 Skarbrands in the same army. I'm not sure if I can use them as Soul Grinders either due to the size. Anyone got any suggestions?

Also I'd like to incorporate other Beastmen units too (minus the finecast stuff, because finecast) so suggestions on other items would be appreciated. Prefer to stay mono-khorne. I may use Gors as Bloodletters and Bestigors as Khorne Berserkers.

Vigo. Spain.

Use them as Bloodthirsters. Put them in a appropiate base and I don't see a problem with them not having wings.

Dakka does have White Knights and is also rather infamous for it's Black Knights. A new edition brings out the passionate and not all of them are good at expressing themselves in written form. There have been plenty of hysterical responses from both sides so far. So we descend into pointless bickering with neither side listening to each other. So posting here becomes more masturbation than conversation.

Bloodletters/bloodthirsters are a good way to play them. Can use other 'gor units as lesser creatures.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

The thing with Ghorgons is that their height matches the BT height but the wings account for a large portion of the BT's size, and the Ghorgons are much shorter than that.

They would be really good KoS's but that would break the Khorne theme :/

EDIT: I just saw a conversion of a Ghorgon with some imperial knight bits and he's huge. Does anyone know what the size of the Ghorgon is relative to a Soul Grinder? If it's just width I can use the appropriate base and bulk it out to represent the extra legs and whatnot.

Grab some Flyrant wings off eBay or some such and convert them up? Is that a possibility?

I think Ghorgons look weird with wings. I kinda wanna preserve the whole "on the ground" look.

I may run them as giant spawns or, if size does match up, soulgrinders.
