Game Anywhere Tables

Originally I was looking at the Ultimate Gaming Table but I have a 5'x4' dining room table. None of their tables fit into my space and I couldn't get smaller and use leafs or some other option. Currently I have 3 2'x6 table tops that position, lockin place for gaming. However, I was looking for something a bit different but wasn't going to cost an arm and leg. I was going to make my own modular table when I stumbled upon the Game Anywhere Tables again. When I originally looked at them I was put off by a couple of their designs because I thought they were basically folding gaming tables and I didn't like the look. After a couple friends backed them because they played on the tables at GenCon and talking to them, I caved.

They have already had a successful Kickstarter which has delivered and they continue to sell the accessory for their tables on their website. Their new Kickstarter is for different options and the modular table which is the GAT-54MOD. The 54MOD table seems to fit what I was looking for, modular, classy design that folds up. I can either move it to the closet or I can have it replace my dining room table as the options I was looking at folds into the size of the dining table (5'x4') storing the extensions which will let me expand it to a 6'x4' play area. I also can just choose to sit it on top an existing table if I didn't want it to replace my dining room table, so I don't have to move it.

It looks like if you get the Wood Toppers (basically leafs), which goes on top of the gaming tables after you've folded it up or stored stuff so you can use it as a traditional table (if you wanted) that in case there was a spill, there is rubber to reduce spill impact on the surface below.

If you are looking at the FedEx shipping, yeah it is expensive. Given the size, moreso than the weight, Polonez Parcel seems fine and less expensive by a lot for Air or Sea. If I recall the examples given are for the most expensive, large table vs the GAT-44 or 54 which is somewhere less.

These look neat. I like that they can be adjusted between coffee table and dining room table heights. Anyone else have one and can comment on their sturdiness?

The soundbar thing is wild too. Is it for playing music while gaming?

They were at GenCon. I didn't get a chance to use them, but I had some friends that played games on them. They said they were sturdy and great to play on. Them backing is what pushed me to back.

Some reviews of their previous tables. They are decent, not for me but decent but does show they have experience which does seem to carry into the design and construction of their new GAT-54 table.

Yes the soundbar is for playing games. If you have watched Critical Roll on Geek and Sundry, they have background music playing the background during their D&D session. There is also an app called Syrinscape that has sound effects for gaming. I already have a Bluetooth speaker so I'd just use that, but good for those that don't have it.

In those videos in the post you just made the legs look too narrowly placed, though, right? There are so many options I'm a bit confused, did they widen the stance with the newer tables?

The options can be a bit confusing. Most of the people have been good at answering, I messaged most of my questions to get my answers. There will be a pledge manager where you can choose your options, add to it as well as they are working on a video so you can choose what your options are (so if you weren't sure you were ready, I think the $1-5 gets you into it).

I can't speak about the 44 or 64 as I was only really interested in the GAT-54 (look at the top of the first graphic on the OP). The GAT-54 when fully open is W5'5"x D4'x7" x H30" (unless you get different leg options) with a total playing surface area of W5' x D4'2" x H30". The individual player stations are W27.5" x D9" x H30" (there are 4 of them on the base GAT-54 if I remember). When the table is folded up completely it is W2'6" x D2'8" x H9". To make it a table with W6'5" x D4'2" it needs another 4 25" Player Stations. I do know that the actual packs save you about a couple hundred in add-ons instead of just buying the Core ($599/$699) table.

I decided on the one table because they sell their existing tables on their shop from their previous Kickstarter along with the add-ons. If I wanted to add more later or changed my setup, I can always buy more later but knew I at least wanted 4x6 so got what I needed for that.
