Has there been any word if GSC is getting a separate codex or will be included in the upcoming Tyranid codex?

They will most definitely get their own separate codex. No question about it.

I know they had their own in 7th, but it just seems a small unit count to have their own book.... On the flip side... Deathwatch have had their own book confirmed. and I believe they have even less unique units than GSC.

Nid dex would be crazy bloated if combined with GSC. Plus 5-6 hive fleets, 6 different GSCs. The book would be bigger then the space marine codex and be packed with way more artifacts, unique rules, strategems and all that other crap.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

I could see 'em maybe bumping out the 'dex a bit with more Imperial Guard units, or at least some more tanks.

That's actually a fair point. Would be easy to bulk out their own codex with AM units and not need the Brood Brothers rule.

As it is, I could believe GSC would have a better fit for AM then Nids due to all the Vehicles.

I can't imagine them putting them together though, but I would hope they get more units to round out the slots they need.

As said, just plain giving them some AM units instead of the blood brothers rule.

can neither confirm nor deny I lost track of what I've got right now.

I can very easily see that. They've got the GSC upgrade sprue out, and LR tanks, Chimeras, and Sentinels are all options currently. With them showing off and providing rules for conversions (check out the Warhammer Community AM conversions they just put out, or the GK Codex), it's not really reaching to think that's possible.

Not to mention they might not want gsc to be from the big regiments that get rules in AM. My knowledge on gsc lore is lacking at best, but it feels unlikely that there is a cult of Vostroyans about?
