About to run the first test print of this sculpt. The piece is entirely inspired by the Opeth song of the same name.

Im going to try it at 65mm tall and move it up or down depending on how the details come out.

Any feedback, suggestions welcome. My thoughts on it were (as far as my interpretation of the lyrics go) I wanted to show the
absolute descent into madness the lyrics reference, and only a glimmer of the beauty that once was. The 'ghosts' at this point
having absolute control over her, hence the domineering position of the main ghost and the proximity of the smaller ones
at her pillow.

Should be interesting to paint, at least.

I'm a big fan of that album. I think your sculpt captures the imagery of the song pretty well. It is also a very good sculpt in a technical sense. The only complaint I have is that the main ghost is perhaps a bit too domineering - it is so large in scale compared to the rest of the miniature that it kind of steals all attention away from the rest of the details you've included.

I think you are right but it evoked me because is still basically "1/2 beautiful, 1/2 hideous".

That was one of their first songs I ever heard!!
This sculpt does it justice!

Thanks, I know lyrics are very open to interpretation but this one is relatively direct in its story telling.

Ill be starting the print here in a little bit, hopefully later today Ill have pics of the actual model.
