My local GW manager told me that I'll want to find another stand or pin my Ironclad to the stand because the stand itself is simply too weak to hold the weight. The stand itself will actually wobble/bend. Has anyone actually figured out a way to better brace this model so that it doesn't wobble?

Thanks in advance!

You're probably best off with brass pipe.

3mm brass rod will do you. Will hold a surprising amount of weight. You will need to find a way to add something to the base to hold it, though as that base won't be good enough.

Failing that, some thicker acrylic rod (I've got some roughly 8.5mm thick stock on a couple of flight stands for some old solid resin hovercraft from the 90s). You can drill into it and secure it to the base with a screw.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

Not been my experience at all. The base and stand works absolutely fine.

I use the rods and mounting pegs for quite a few things. Usually when I have a base from dragonforge. It’s not only very sturdy but because the rods screw in, it’s incredibly easy to remove the base if you need to.
