In an effort to break the endless chain of different flavours of Space Marine I've been painting recently, I turned my brush to this superb model from Infinity. I've always struggled to reconcile the style I usually work in with Infinity's clean hard sci-fi aesthetic, so every so often I like to try and paint a model from the range to see if I've managed to get my head around it yet. This time, I think I just might have done, this effort is definitely far stronger than my last attempt to do this model justice back in 2015! I quite like redoing old models like this, it's a nice metric of my development as a painter.

Thanks for looking, any thoughts/feeedback/gallery votes welcome!

That's a great paint job Para! It's nice to see something a bit different than your A "gritty" game. Infinity minis are so
gorgeous but they are a pain in the butt to paint cause all of the tiny details.

Cheers mate. To be honest, even when I've struggled with them artistically I always really enjoy painting Infinity stuff. They're fiddly, but I enjoy the challenge every now and then, especially when I've been painting 40k on auto-pilot for a while.

It's too bad the photo is not zoomable. I feel it is also a bit too dark. I can't make out the details. Looks good from afar though.
