I have a roll of Army Painter Barbed Wire I intended to put on my Armies on parade board. I coiled it around a pen and painted it and all, it looks pretty good from the reference pics I've got. Only problem is how do I apply it? As in, how to I put it on the board realistically?

Sorry if it sounds incohesive, I'm not sure how to word the question

What kind of a board is it? Muddy? Sandy? In any case you could try to bury the lower part of the wire into the board.

I do commissions:

Gathering the Informations.

Break a toothpick in half, drill a hole into it and then string the barbed wire through it.

You can then sink the toothpick down into some dirt/green stuff to look like it's been hammered into the ground in a hurry.

Do a google search for barb wire barricades. Should give you a good idea on how to set up realistic looking barb wire.

I’ve used a similar idea to Kanwulen, though I just wrap it around.
