I would consider a dreadnought for the stormraven, if you're going to try assault you might as well go all in!

I had one in there, but I ended up taking it out. Didn't have the points to fit it in and nothing I really want to cut out.

Intercessors are ok, tac marines are wasted points. Scouts arent very helpful either, it takes to long to kill an enemy character. A quad lascan pred is to many points. For a little more (30 pts) you can get two razorbacks with twin lascan each. I suggest replacing the tac marines and scouts with company veterans with melta or plasmaguns. They can ride in the razorback. It would also help if you can squeeze another captain in. The captain lets you reroll any 1s on the razorbacks assault cannon.
Deepstriking is cool, but if you fail the 9" charge (your chances are not good) you will just sit there doing nothing. I love company veterans with stormbolters and chainswords. When they deepstrike 9" away from the enemy every model has 4 shots with the stormbolter. The chainsword gives +1 attack, and its free. If they fail the charge they had at least some shots at the enemy. A dreadnought would be nice too, could be carried by the stormraven.

Sorrry but looks more like a conglomerate of models than a BA army for a tourney.
The army needs some focus, like 2x10 Death Company with jump packs for dealing with shooty units. Razorbacks or Baal Predators for heavy infantry, and say Preds with lascannons vs. tanks.

I want a battalion for the extra 3 command points. Tac isn't a waste. It has obsec. Scouts kinda are a waste, but they'll camp on an objective in my deployment zone and take pot shots. If my opponent wants to shoot at them, bonus for me. All the other shooting elements in my army won't complain. Good point about 2 Razors over 1 Predator. I don't think I have the turrets for that, but I'll need to check and keep that in mind for the future. I'm well aware of the woes of Deep Striking. I've been playing a few times a week since release. I'd only try to go in after Deep Strike with the Death Company since Lemartes provides the reroll. Even that isn't a guarantee. I mostly just deepstrike for position. I love Vets too. Don't have the models though. They are on my short list. Thanks for the feedback.

I appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback, but I really don't agree. By focus do you mean spam? Not my style and really this is half of an army for a doubles tournament. I kinda have what you are saying I don't.

I have Death Company, multiple AssCans and Hurricane Bolters for hordes/shooting units. Hellblasters and Predator for dealing with heavy infantry/vehicles, and Terminators for heavy vehicles and characters.

I don't think Death Company are good in multiple units. 1 unit is fine because of the buffs from Lemartes, but a second one is kinda a waste. I would rather take Vets with Storm Shields. More effective.

Just a few suggestions. I think that you should balance out your troops. Instead of 3 random units why not run 3 five man tactical squads with either lascannons if you want them to sit around or a combi plasma and plasmagun in an razorback with assault cannons. Also if I were you, don't run hellblasters. They are okay at best and when I took them to a tournament they didn't do well. Maybe cut the reivers and the primaris captain for a normal captain with a combi plasma and add some more razorbacks to make your infantry mobile. Cheers!

I haven't ran Tacticals since before 5th and I always forget you can add a heavy weapon in there. I do want 1 unit of scouts for infiltrate, but I think removing the Intercessors and going with another Tactical Squad w/ 1 Lascannon and a Plasma Gun/Combi-Plasma in the other embarked in the Razorback makes a lot more sense.

I'm surprised Hellblasters didn't work well for you. At the local store I play (and it's a GW store so people there aren't super competitive) they pretty much delete a unit a turn. Where they shot off the table quick? What happened making them ineffective? Thanks for the feedback.

when I played them I ran them with a captain as mobile heavy hitters but it seemed like they didn't do as well as I hoped, never really deleting anything and always getting charged or shot to death.

Same here. Hellblasters perform very well at our FLGS. They sit on top of a ruin (in cover) accompanied by a captain and a lieutenant, rerolling 1s to hit and 1s to wound. Their range of 30" makes sure nothing comes close. At 15" they can fire twice.

Alright took into account feedback from people here and talking to my team mate. Here is where I'm at.

Battalion Detachment

HQ
Captain w/ Master-crafted Bolter, Power Sword
Lemartes

ELITE
7 Death Company w/ Jump Packs, Bolters, 2 Thunder Hammers

TROOPS
5 Tactical Marines w/ Lascannon
5 Tactical Marines w/ Plasma Gun, Storm Bolter
5 Scouts w/ Sniper Rifles

DEDICATED TRANSPORT
Razorback w/ AssCan
Razorback w/ AssCan
Razorback w/ AssCan

HEAVY SUPPORT
5 Hellblasters w/ Plasma Incinerators

FLYER
Stormraven w/ AssCan, Melta, Hurricane Bolters

Supreme Command

HQ
Mephiston
Corbulo
Librarian w/ Force Sword

ELITE
5 Terminators w/ 3 Hammers, 2 Claws

1,999 Points - 7 Command Points

One of the armies we are going to face is a double Death Guard army hence the Librarian for extra Psychic denial. He'll go with the Tac Squad that has the Plasma Gun and Storm Bolter in a Razor. Thoughts?
