I just noticed the front of the base needs a little fix to it.

The wings were primed with Army Painter White spray.

I then did a shade starting at the bottom going about 1/4 of the way up using Seraphim Sepia. After that dried, I put another layer of shade using the Sepia going from the bottom to about half way. In both steps I took care to leave the most amount of shade closer to the edges. A third shade of sepia was done to get a bit more of the burnt look to the edges.

Then I shaded the top of the wings with Druchii Violet.

Finally, I did a very light drybrush of Screaming Skull to tone down some of the shading and help the fade effect.


The very tops of the wings were based in Incubi Darkness, edged in Genestealer Purple and shaded with Druchii Violet.

Looks awesome but the base is a bit too healthy for my liking.
