Feedback pls.

This model was an experiment: I painted his costume in greyscale then glazed it with Badger Minitaire Ghost Tints.

The experiment didn't work out as well as I'd hoped; the resulting colours were a little flatter than I had expected, with the red being darker than I wanted. Still, looks OK, if not my best.

I think you did an amazing job on him! I have a bunch of the x-men and dark avenger figures for this game, Loved painting them and the game was amazing. I however have had no interest and cant talk anyone into playing it since it's been discontinued.

Eldar/DE/Harlequins- 6000+
Genestealer Cult - 2000
Currently enthralled by Blanchitsu and INQ28.

Thank you! Yeah, I know what you mean. I decided to paint the figures anyway because, well, I love me some 90's cartoon X-Men. I'm hoping some day to use them in a miniatures-agnostic game of some description. Thinking about writing one myself in fact; I have a basic (not very original) idea for the mechanics, but I figure I should probably finish painting them before I start down that little rabbit hole.

Thanks! I'm thinking about experimenting with lighter glazes, like maybe some GW glazes, since the red at least came out darker than I expected. The Ghost Tints are very saturated though, so I'm not sure if I can get as strong a colour with my GW glazes.
