So I bought a second edition Rhino a couple of days ago, but it is missing one of the exhaust pipes. Instead of trying to find a replacement, I was thinking of painting on some battle damage at the spot where it should have gone. What kind of weapon do you think could blow off an exhaust pipe without crippling the rest of the Rhino?

To rip the whole thing off without just blowing up the whole tank I would guess it would be a close combat weapon like a claw (ork or tyranid). So I'd go with deep gouges and scratches, maybe some corrosion if it's 'nids.
