Hi All,

Just picked up a box of Chaos Terminators for my new CSM army, and thinking through some modelling options-I like kitbashing just about every model in my army

I've got some Grey Knights bits (among others) in storage which I will pick up in a couple of weeks, and was thinking about maybe using the Power Halberds on my CSM termies to make them look just a little different-scrape off any GK iconography, of course, and chaos it up a bit with bitz and GS.

My issue is, of course, that CSM don't have access to Power Halberds. Just looking for a general feeling on a) whether many people would have a problem with power halberds in place of other weapons, and b) what power weapon I should perhaps say the halberd represent? I'm not too worried about the WYSIWYG aspect, but I like to try to pick something not too far from the look and stay consistent-ie I don't like the idea of giving power halberds to everyone and then saying two of them are bolters, one of them is a heavy flamer, etc. They'll all be used to represent power weapons, and all the same power weapon (I was thinking maybe power axes, it's not too much of a stretch I think...)

Thanks

Power axes

it all depends on how you want to shape the choppy end.

This was the problem when GW started dilineating the types of power weapon. If you have an entry called 'power weapon', then it could be shaped any way you want. I feel your pain.

I'd say pick what ever you want. As long as it's consistent across your models, I think your opponents will be happy.
