Hey there folks!

Thought I'd share the Necron project that I'm currently working on...and probably will be working on for the foreseeable future!

Legends tell of a Necron legion that passed hands from playgroup to playgroup...for years they stood the test of time...aaaand then they somehow ended up in my hands. Basically I ended up swapping an old army for a box of well Necron...pieces...yeah thats an apt way of putting it. So this PLOG is my attempt to fix up this legion and hopefully inspire and be inspired!

First up is the Cryptek that I picked up myself. I'm not so much into the gaming side of things...more so the modelling and painting. So I picked this little dude up to try out a scheme and well...I settled on this.










Since I've started working on this project again a few things have changed.

Firstly, I've changed the basing style and scheme to a more rocky/martian style.

Secondly, most of the more recent models that I have painted haven't been weathered yet. I'm going to save that till I have the entire army done, or as I finish each squad!

So ye'll notice bases and weathering differences in some of the models!

Next up is the second model I painted a pretty little Tomb Spyder:











Again this was an earlier model I painted to try out the scheme!

Here's a Destroyer I recently finished. It has no base so I'm going to build up a nice custom one for it!







Next up are some warriors!







There's one squad of 12 done, however, half of them need rebasing

And lastly what I'm working on right now. Some Lychguard! These dudes were a little treat for myself to paint after slogging through the warrior squad! There still very much WIP.











So that's everything I've been working on so far to hopefully get the juices flowing for this PLOG!

I'm currently finishing off those Lychguard and working on another Cryptek and next up will be an Immortal Squad.

Just to give an idea of the box that is in my possession filled with...well bits of necrons.

Ahead of me I have another:

60 Warriors

1 Triarch Stalker

5-6 Wraiths

3-4 Lords

1 Command Barge

2 Night Scythes

5 Lychguard with Warscythes

4-5 Destroyers

So lets get this legion rolling!

Oooh yeah and Scarabs...so many scarabs

Sooo been working away on the Lychguard and they're pretty much all done!

















And I also fired out another Destroyer. Still thinking of ideas for their new bases! Probably just built up rubble!
