I notice that now all the rules are online. However in the rules I don't see anything in regards to formations, or command points which seems to be the biggest change I've noticed when watching battle reports. Can anyone direct me to where I can get all this information?

They're in the rulebook. The online rules cover all the basics to allow people easy entry. The rulebook contains an 'Advanced Rules' section that adds in the more complex rules like formations, battle-forged armies, command points, unique terrain rules, etc.

I would like to point out that Formations isn't really a thing anymore, but we have a universal set of Detachments. Note that not all formations can translate into detachments (like, the Riptide wing would not be a legal battleforged army unless you're using only auxillary detachments)
