I have been tempted for a while now to convert my small admech army into a dark mechanicus army. I thought that I may be able to use some of the 'grand alliance death' models from the age of sigmas range to do this but I don't quite know how. Do you guys have any suggestions
Many thanks Krakbang

Just make sure you have clippers that can handle STEEL wire (or you will notch your clippers - because most guitar strings have a steel core wire at least). Some decent electronics nippers (with tungsten carbide blades) would be awesome for this job - just like a set I've had for years.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

If you mean units like morghasts, mortarchs, etc, then yeah they can make for decent looking 40k monsters. You’d have to really stick to the theme with everything else though, as their aesthetic doesn’t really match any regular mechanicus or chaos stuff. Paint all the bone parts as metal, use something like a bright electric blue or green for the ghost parts, and you can say they’re metal cages for the possessing Daemon stuff.

You could use skitarii with swapped skeleton heads painted the same ghostly color to represent the cyborgs as possessed in a similar way, and use spirit host kits to ‘ghost up’ any mechanical stuff like dunecrawlers and dragoons.
