Been very busy for the last 2 months so haven't had time to play 40k at all and I've only really been taking quick looks at what's been added/changed, so with that in mind:

How is the new DG stuff holding up? Only really seen stuff from when it was first released.

How good is Mechanicus now? Someone said canticles are very good now but that's all I've heard.

Are AM more balanced now or are they still dominating the meta?

Are the Eldar looking to be good when their codex does come out?

Anything else been released since DG that I haven't heard about?

Any hot gossip about other factions, new models, etc.?

There was a major change to AM (the new faq this week) and CWE book is out this weekend, expect the meta to change a bit in the next couple months, even more so since Tyranids will be out in a few weeks as well.

DG isnt bad, but IDK if they been push to their limited yet, players know how to deal with Mortarion so many arent playing him, there are still many that do, it comes down to Rock Paper, Scissors atm for DG IMO.

Eldar is looking really good, they have the ability to have 25% more Dark Reapers with a -1 to hit against them, DSing Fire Dragons, Shadow Specters, Wraiths. A Wraithblade unit can dbl its attacks for a turn.
Everything basically got cheaper, Shiny Spears can turn 1 charge without DSing and are cheaper. All the other tanks are better and cheaper.
Over all Eldar got what it needed OTHER THAN ONE UNIT, the WK is still a pile piece of crap IMO, no points decrease other than one of its heavies, still over 500pts with any guns, Tho you can make it -1 to hit against him and regain wounds now, but its still to costly for what it does.
OH and rangers are 40% cheaper now too.

1) Eldar codex brings cheap rangers and tons of stacked -1 to BS bs. Falcons down by 50 points.

2) Commissars has been nerfed with a rending nerfbat. Go to the thread, witness the salt.

3) DG is solid, and there are many ways to run them. Mortarion is good, but not an auto-include buff-machine like... some other primach.

4) Infitrate stratagem still heineously broken.

5) This just in... ork boyz 10-15% better than Khorne Bezerkers.

Omg, that salt part! XD yeah, if I was you I would stay away from that thread. Gw actually attempted to balance something for once (although pretty poorly) and there are people outright saying GW ripped them off and stole everyones money with the codex (like the one commisar rule made everyone buy new models.... XD). But welcome back! Everything is going pretty well as the codex is all balancing with each other while the rest of us wait for our codex stuff.

Not sure about the ork boyz thing? Where did you get that news? XD
