I generally lean towards shooty orks, but with all the -1, -2, -3 to hits out there and after seeing the TTTactics bat rep between Ravenguard and New Craftworlds, it seems that melee is all we have left. This list sucks...

I did the math (just in my head - so errors likely). If a unit of 26 sluggas surround an IK, T8, Sv 3+ with Nob Banner, Ghaz, and Warpath all in range that's
156 Swings excluding the nob.

A Kustom Mega Kannon will do way more work than a single Killa Kan, and when it dies the grots can sit on an objective or bubble wrap a character. Painboy are not efficient for their cost due to mandatory klaw/killsaw--kff mek will get you more value. If you do banner +2 5 man kommando units. With that few stormboyz I don't know i Zagstruk is worth it. You can easily do double battalion+supreme command or outrider and live with 2 less CP and not have to pay for kans and 2 painboy. you can use saved points to get weirdboy or mega kannons to deal with knights. Tankbustas are technically better vs vehicles but not by a lot, and the mega kannons are good vs all targets.
I was messing around with brigade the other day, generally I had: ghaz, 2 bike mek, banner nob, 5 max boyz, 1 min grots, 2 min kommandos, 3 min stormboyz, 3 single big gunz/mek gunz + supreme command of 3 weirdboyz.
I feel double battalion to save points on elite/fast/heavy tax is more worth in a boyz-heavy list though. Da jump is so strong I would try to bring at least 2 weirdboy to have it and warpath available.

The only problem about this list is the presence of kans. You're basically offering an appropriate target for the enemy anti tank, so they will die turn 1.
A mix with boyz and kans can be decent but you need more armored units like wagons, trukks or naughts.
Otherwise artillery is a better option and allows all your boyz/stormboyz to advance and don't care about objectives in your backfield. I'd suggest kannons or KMKs instead of kans.
I'd also try to include a biker big mek with KFF instead of the waaagh banner to protect the storm boyz and 1-2 mobz. And the weirdboy should cast Da Jump IMHO since you don't have much mobility but lots of attacks anyway thanks to the number of boyz and the buff granted by ghaz.
But overall it's certainly a good list.

@papabearshane: Yes I know tankbustas are good, but they can't hit anything with a -2 to hit, which is becoming prevalent which is why I may give up on Ork Shooting: Here's my current LVO list:

I'm curious about the choice to use 26 boyz+nob instead of 29+nob. Is it just due to the models you have, or is there a strategic motive behind that unit size? I have always maxed out my boyz this edition but lowering them a bit would let me fit in more weirdboys.
