Guard Heavy Weapon Crewman

I have recently been enchanted by the style of painting and modelling us3d by john Blanche. To begin my own work with this style, I have decided to begin a new inquisition warband, featuring stunted mutants with chainsword being led by a technological monstrosity once known as an inquisitor. Does anyone have experience painting in the blanchitsu style? Converting crypt ghouls? Anything is appreciated.

There is no place for the weakwilled or hesitant. Only by firm action and resolute faith will mankind survive. No sacrifice is too great. No treachery too small.

Poxed Plague Monk

Crypt ghouls make nice Arco-flaggents. Cut off the hands and replace with wires, guitar wire, chainsword blades, whatever looks cool and pointy works. There are a couple of bones that are piercing the models skin that may need to be filed smooth, as well as hair/fur, but with that out of the way some sort of mechanical bobs a long the spine and a mask from the DE wrackes.
I would also looking at Skaven Plague monks and the Dwarf firebreathers (the naked ones with the big hair) as both of these sets work nicely for short mutant henchmen, of course with a little work.
