Hello Everybody!

For those of you who are familiar with INSTAR and what we are doing, then you're going to enjoy this post. For those of you who are not familiar with us, just use the forum search and type in INSTAR, and it will bring up everything to do with us including the very first post which has led to todays posting!

You can find the list of colours we require here - INSTAR Vintage - The list of colours needed

Anyway, I had a very nice surprise yesterday which I want to share with you guys who are interested in seeing the old GW shades being revived as I know some of you miss the old shades which are no longer available.

Just as I was about to leave one of my local gaming clubs, one of the guys stopped me and handed me a parcel, he knew about the project I was doing and said that he thought this might help as he had no use for them anymore since he was giving up the hobby and thought I'd find a much better use for what he had given me. He'd taped it up pretty well so I had to wait until I got home to see what he had given me.

I wasn't quite expecting this!

51 different shades including an extremely rare Foundation Paint set (When I say rare, just try looking for one on sale, they don't go cheap, most are not full and nearly 99% of the time, they are no longer available!), I couldn't quite believe it, it took me a while to sort through it but there are quite a few colours there which are not duplicates

But the biggest thing was this!

I was quite eager to get this one open and it didn't disappoint, it was a complete full set of original Citadel Foundation Paint and they all still had paint it it!

So this little beauty....

Will be going back on sale soon under the INSTAR Vintage name, I just need to get the shade programmed into the system and then wait for some more bottle to arrive. Once this is done I'll post another update explaining how you can purchase some.

The total list of colours that I was supplied are as follows, washes are listed as this will be our next project and paints marked with *will not be available yet as we are still fine tuning our metallics, but will be available as soon as possible!

What a stroke of luck! Good to see people helping out on your project! Do you have ETA when we can get our hands on products?

Hopefully by the end of the month the first lot should be ready to roll out. This will consist of the entire GW base range being offered as well as a 1/3rd of the GW layer paints and as many of these vintage ones as I can get ready.

There may be some metallics available too but I'm still in talks with that one as the process gets refined.

I would be happy to send missing colors, but you really need to publish a list of colors you are looking for...
