Hey guys, I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum section.

I'm trying to do my first magnetization job and decided to try it out on these fantastic new models since they have limited weapon options in the kit I need to magnetize them all for easy customization. I read around and heard to use 3mm x 1mm (N35) magnets so that is what I attempted to use, it seems fine for the combi-bolter arms but not the bigger weapons as they keep on sagging and falling off fairly easily. So I've been browsing ebay and saw some 3mm x 1.5mm (n52) do you guys think this is a big enough upgrade on magnets to use for the bigger weapons to keep them stable? As far I know the N determines magnet strength.

And secondly, are there any easy ways to remove a magnet after supergluing it in, I'm going to need to remove the magnets from the weapons so I can upgrade them.

Thanks!

If they are like normal CSM Terminators, those arms are a little too heavy for any magnet. The problem is the angle of the torso, there's not enough surface on the torso to prevent the arms from sliding down.

I put a small pin in mine for arms to rest on. Ensures they keep their guns aimed at the enemy. Impossible for anyone to notice except me.

As for removing a magnet that has been superglued, it's the same problem you have with anything else that's been superglued. It will be impossible to remove until precisely the moment you need it to stay in place.

What I have done in the past is put 2 small holes on each side of the magnet and used clippers to pry it out. When it's done carefully, you can use greenstuff to cover up the holes afterwards. This technique has lead to the loss of a couple models, but that can be avoided by going very slowly and not using too much force.
