Fluff be damned, I'm going to run Iron Warriors and DG together. I've got a solid base of a collection but want to fill it out with a few more things to give me the flexibility to play a bunch of different lists.
I am semi-competitive at best, but more of a good times player, if that helps.
Anyone have suggestions for what I should collect to fill this army out?

I would suggest building some havocs, more Obliterators for the IW. A daemon prince for the DG.
