Trying a thought experiment for a list that sounded interesting to me that would be fun to try and play
Could either build this as a Cadian army for the reroll 1's (particularly with the Macharius tanks), or as a Valhallan army to keep the big tanks firing at full effectiveness until they're already dead and to mitigate morale issues on the infantry screen.

12 CP's (though with Warlord Trait and Kurov's Aquila will probably generally be more 16-20), 3 Detachments, 19 distinct units, 3 SH tanks, 6 walkers, 64 infantry.
Basically the idea is that the Superheavies do a majority of the killing. The Shadowsword is the one real obvious hammer in the army, the Macharius Vulcan's are pretty solid too however, outperforming most dedicated tank hunter units (like quadlas preds) at tank killing while being amazing muppet mowers and sporting a 60" range with a very consistent and minimally variable damage output. Warlord is going to spend most of the battle hiding as best as possible, generating CP's and basically just being a passive force multiplier, while the other officers cover Orders. The Infantry squads and officers are there largely to screen the tanks and finish off wounded units and nab objectives, not too much exciting there. Sentinels are there for supplementary fire support and largely just to be annoying and provide something else an opponent can't afford totally ignore but doesn't necessarily want to devote resources to killing either.
An alternative thought would be to drop the Sentinels, and replace them with either with a trio of Hellhounds, Wyverns, or Basilisks or something, and if there's points left over see if I can fit in a support character or two like a pysker.
Thoughts?
