Ei.

So my boltgun snipers came out very nicely; so much so that i'm thinking of having a few of the command squaders in parade drill, rifles to port, goose stepping or whatever the Russian version of it is called.

However, the standing plastic guardsman that i'm aware of are all of rather slovenly, given they're combat troops.

Therefore; are there any examples, methods or success stories of doing parade march guardsmen?

Some people find the idea that other people can be happy offensive, and will prefer causing harm to self improvement.

Not sure about examples. But there are some arms that you could get with the weapon held behind the arm as if marching.

There was a Warhammer World studio diorama showing a massive Cadian parade march with vehicles and guardsmen - with Stormtroopers and command echelons overlooking. I'm sure it was in White Dwarf a couple issues ago.

Here is a link to a post someone's done on it.

I'm not having much luck finding images of the guardsmen in detail, but if you can find the issue and buy it it details how they built them in terms of parts/conversion methods. It might be your best bet.

Good luck.
