So I think I know how this works but want to check.

1) I have a Hive Tyrant and a lictor (among other things) in a Tyranids Detachment
2) I have a GSC detachment with some Purestrains and other things
3) I have a Guard detachment with a Tempestor Prime who is my warlord and has the regain CPs on a 5+ trait.

Situation 1:
My Hive Tyrant is fired at by my opponent's scatter lasers. Can I use the Astra Militarum Take Cover! stratagem to give him a 2+ save? (I think yes)

Situation 2:
My Purestrains kill a Farseer can I use Feeder Tendrils to regain CP? (I think no)

Situation 3
My Lictor kills a Warlock in close combat can I use Feeder Tendrils to gain 1-3 CP and my warlord trait to roll for one more on a 5+? (I think yes)

I don't think you can use Feeder Tendrils with Puerstrains, the strategem name checks the specific units that can use it with the exception being the Lictor keyword which is to save space and allow both Lictors and the Deathleaper to use it. In this case Purestrain Genestealers are not the same as Genestealers so can't use the strategem.

Your Lictors absolutely can when killing a warlock though.

SInce Genestealer is not in keyword format, it refers to Genestealer units, which Purestrain Genestealers are not.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
