Selling my tyranids and while digging up models I KNEW I had I ran into shields of baal. Whoops! Guess I have too much models since I forgot I still had this untouched on tyranid side...

Well buyer is happy likely but I would like to verify no sprue is missing in action. Not being familiar with tyranid sprues I would like somebody to help verifying should I dig deeper.

So contents are I think:

Broodlord(1 sprue)
8xgenestealer(2 sprues)
carnifex(3 sprues)
3 tyranid warriors(2 sprues)

I'm pretty damn positive I have all sprues in my home. Problem is just have I located them all! Does above sound like something is missing?

From what I remember, Shield of Baal came with the new Warriors (not the old 3rd edition ones. The two are not that visually different but the new ones had boneswords and lashwhips, and recut the sprues). According to the current GW website, there are three Sprues to this set.

Everything else is right on the count otherwise. Carnifex should have 2 sprues for the body and a "Monstrous arms" sprue with the heavy venom cannon and stranglethorn cannon, as well as additional, smaller talons, for a total of 3. Genestealers technically has 4 sprues, but they're cast as one piece and in larger box sets they don't break this down, so if you have two sprues that look like they could be snapped in the middle, that should be correct. The Broodlord just has the one clam-pack sprue.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.

Thanks. As for warriors looked at the warrior page and it's still match. Forgot to mention the 2 sprues is big and small so basically 2 sprues together and 1 and seems it's match.

Thanks again. Just what I needed.
