Would love to hear your thoughts on this list. The Electro Priests use a command point to infiltrate within 9+" at the beginning of the game. The Enginseer marches up with the Destroyers and Dragoons, while the Dominus stays with the Dunecrawlers repairing as much as he can with Necromechanic, Autocaduceus, and Tech-Adept. Rangers screen the Dunecrawlers from turn 1 deep strikers.

At my desk

I personally would try to have a few more infantry in my list, as five man Skitarii squads (even in cover) generally won't last long. However I really wouldn't remove anything to do that (maybe a dragoon, but it would be a tough choice).

All around solid list. I like it.

3000pts Blood Angels (4th Company) - 2000pts Skitarii (Voss Prime) - 2500pts Imperial Knights (Unnamed House) - 1000pts Imperial Guard (Household Retainers)

2000pts Free Peoples (Edlynd Fusiliers) - 2000pts Kharadron Overlords (Barak Zilfin) - 500pts Ironweld Arsenal (Edlynd Ironwork Federation) - 1000pts Duardin (Grongrok Powderheads)

Wargaming's no fun when you have a plan!

Thanks for the response @TheManWithNoPlan ! I definitely agree, having more infantry to toss around would be ideal. I would love 2 more units of Rangers, but you're right, there really isn't much that I can get rid of without jeopardizing the synergy of the list, even just 40 points.

Removing one Dragoon would lower the benefit of conqueror doctrine imperative quite a bit, and I just love their -2 to hit with Stygies VIII dogma.

I feel like I need the Electro-Priest squad size to stay at 20 considering the amount of abuse they will take turn 1.

There an option I was considering; Remove 1 squad of Destroyers and bring 1 or 2 to the other squad. However, I really like pairing a minimum squad size near Dragoons for the +1 leadership aura making them 8 and immune to fleeing if they lose 2 models. So I'm torn.

But it really comes down to the purpose of the Rangers, and in this list it is to screen the Dunecrawlers from turn 1 deep strikers. They do that pretty well and additional units wouldn't necessarily improve what these 2 already do.

Combine the Dragoons into one unit. It greatly improves their ability to wreck vehicles with Doctrina.

Don't sweat it, adding more infantry is a pretty bad idea. Skitarii are awful. Bare-bones Rangers are about as optimal as they get. At least then when they do die, it isn't a major loss like larger squad sizes or extra kit would entail.

Second the combining of the Dragoons into a Goondozer. Solid strategy.
