Here are pictures of my latest build. a scratch build Thunderhawk gunship. As I didn't want to spend 600 Euros on a resin model and like scratch building my own models I decided to go this way. up to the stage it is in now it took me some 30 hours to build. The base material is extruded polystyrene ( the stuff you insulate houses with). It is very cheap . The material I used so far cost about 10 Euros.

You obviously have sharp eyes and the hands and dexterity of a sculptor, massive kudos to you!

Are you saying the entire build cost a tenner?!

Yes, the complete polystyrene insulation board ( 10cm thick) cost me about 10 Euros . I used about half of it . The rest is for dowel and pipes to build the guns and the landing gear with.

Here is a picture with added twin heavy bolder armament added . The only thing missing now are the Missile hard points. Then it is time for rivets and screws .
