Pylon
= 475pts

Total points = 1997pts

General idea is to keep the immortals near the pylon to benefit from the 5+ invulnsave.

Doomsday arks, barges and stalker takes advanatage of quantum shielding.

List has lots of heavy shooting attacks, but should have enough shots otherwise to take on hordes.

For 10 points more, you could equip the Stalker with a THGC for 12" more range. Given your other platforms, putting that many more targets in re-roll 1s range would be worth it.

Why CCBs over cheaper HQ choices?

Why CCBs over Cheaper HQ Choices?

Going by my own experience in an 5 game tournament last weekend the CCB is a great HQ choice. You lose the 4+ invul but you gain 7" movement, Fly Keyword, +1 Toughness, 12" Command Wave, A Gauss/Tesla Cannon and Quantum Shielding. You can also get D3 wounds back if you back up by a Sypder with Fab Claws.

A CCB wrapped with Scarabs or Wraiths is an amazing CC unit. Can't be targeted via Character keyword, can fall out of combat and shoot while the Scarabs soak up any wounds or smite.

I don't have much to say about the list but the CCBs should do well. I would swap the Gauss For Tesla and SoF of Warscythe.

That will save you several points which can give you more immortals or upgrade the Triarch Stalker.
