Hey, I can't make up my mind on which of these two guys I like the most so I would like some opinions from the general crowd. I do this with full knowledge of the can of worms I'm opening up.

The purple does it more for me, looks really nice on Tau actually. The purple would look ace with a couple of flashes of orange even, like a stripe down the shoulder and/or gun or something.

I like the purple as well. The blue reminds me of a SM too much. I agree with adding a touch of orange to the model to break up the mono tone feel. Not a lot, just a touch on the helmet or shoulder pad and.a knee or something.

Beat thing to do is to find withers it complementary colour or do a split complementary then you'll see which way to take it, I'm going blue and red, but a bit more moody

Yeah the purple is awesome. Is it weird that it looks very militaristic to me?

Purple is a royal color. So militarism makes sense. I kinda dig the purple. And I think orange sept markings would be great.

I'm normally not one for purple, but it really shows well on the Tau. I also second orange Sept markings.

I prefer the purple one but I think personally I'd go for a slightly deeper and less pale purple.

I actually reckon blue with purple accents can look better than blue with red accents.

It works on the Tau thanks to the color palette we're used to seeing on them.

Personally, I dig it. There was a Tau color scheme in the last book that was purple/black and developed as a night war camo.
