How do you guys go about attaching models to a painted resikn base to ensure it doesn't fall off? Getting to rebase my Grey Knights and looking at some custom resin bases want to make sure I don't have separation issues when putting into and removing from the foam.

You could pin them, that would definitely increase the strength. That's what I would do, anyway.

Yea I was thinking pins would help but wasn't sure if a straight pin would increase the durability all that much. I guess I'll just go that route that is definitely the best.

The key to remember, I suppose, is that since you mentioned the bases are already painted, to attempt to minimize the glue that is on the painted surface. If you can get the glue on the pin/in the hole on both the model and the base, you should be golden.

Or you could just do the shotgun approach and smash a whole bunch of glue all over it
