Hi guys,
I have just found a full shade of Reikland Fleshshade.
However, I don't remember why I bought it, or how to use it.
I frequently use nuln oil, seraphim sepia, Agrax and even the druchii one, but I haven't heard about this one.
How do you use it ? On clothes ? Flesh ? Weapons ?
Thanks !

As the name would suggest it's a shade for flesh ;-) you can use it for human flesh; e.g. basecoat bugmans glow, Reikland fleshshade, layer cadian fleshtone, highlights kislev flesh

If I recall correctly it's a touch more reddish than Agrax, which makes it more appropriate for flesh. It's certainly not "red" but more reddish.

It can be good for some colours, I think it's a decent wash over gold if you're going for a brighter gold.

I imagine you could use it on yellow armour if you wanted a warmer tone than Agrax or Sepia washes will give you.

Basically anywhere you want a more reddish tone rather than the more dark yellowish brown of Agrax.

Agreed. It's more of a reddish brown (or a brownish red ) than Agrax Earthshade. Carroburg Crimson is GW's "red" wash.

I used it on Retributor Armor (the color not the unit).

Gold and flesh. I find it a bit weak on 28mm miniatures though. On 54mm and higher, it is really great for adding warmth and depth to flesh tones as well as gold. In 28mm I mostly just use it for golds, and save Agrax for any flesh.

I like to use the gloss reiklands over bone white to get an ivory looking effect that looks nice for things that look like porcelain or ornate decorative bone effects.
