The coloured plastics tend to be marginally less good as the dyes used make the plastic that little bit softer

(it's easier to mess up your cutting/mould line removal with them, marginal but noticeable, although nowhere near the difference in quality with the contracted out terrain/bases)

Virtually all GW (and other companies') plastic kits have colour added to the mix. The natural colour of HIPS is clear (as seen in flyer cockpits, flight stands, etc..). The normal grey is just as much a visually pleasing colour designed for marketing purposes / convenience (all those details and mini-bitz would be super annoying for assembly and painting if clear) as the red, green, blue, etc.. from Shadespire, Blood Bowl, etc..

Virtually all GW HIPS plastic kits have softener added to the mix independent of the colour (except possibly bases and the aforementioned clear parts, possibly because softener would not be clear), because it makes for a more user friendly product.

More Easy to Build is a god-sent. Thank-you GW! I just don't always want to spend the time cutting and gluing sprues.

Now, any chance for more Build+Paint sets, so I can do more of this?

Hope so!

At the very least, we'd be getting more awesome TTPM reviews. Would love to see what the lady does with a Nurgle kit!
