Call me a filthy casual for not going Tzeetch Daemons, but what is the actual real benefit of going Crushers over Bloodletters?

Crushers are 47 points for 7-8 attacks, while Letters are 7 for 2-3 attacks (3 and 8 being captains) on a charge. To even points out, thats 7 Bloodletters for 48. Thats double the attacks. Besides +2 move and an actual armor save, why bother with crushers?

I mean, Crushers had a purpose last edition when they got Rampage in that formation with the Terminators in the Khorne Daemonkin Codex....

As far as I know though, they've always been a more...poor choice.

Right now, there is no clear case you can really make for crushers. But keep in mind that Letters did get that point reduction in CSM codex. Also, its a little pointless to complain about the index at this point, since Daemon dex is just around the corner.

Oh its not a complaint, heck i still run Crushers just to fill points in Daemon lists sometimes. I just didnt know if my logic had some hole I didnt see originally.

If they get an extra Wound and a 10 point reduction like the Plague Drones did in the Death Guard codex they'll be awesome.
