Hey there, when I first started collecting miniatures, those were Gorkamorka-games, and now I got a little bit nostalgic, and made ork-list. I have never played with them in 40k, and I have played only one game against them. Any advise is definately appreciated here, so bring it on..

Strategy is to deploy wide with hordes of orks, Ghazghkull in the center giving buffs. Big Meks and painboy tries to protect all masses, while weirdboy casts Da Jump on hordes. Everything should be able to advance and charge in same turn (well, perhaps not the first).
